Feelings rank higher than words in our evolutionary process. What? Education gives us the words for things and we can feel(!) pretty clever when we know the name of a flower or type of insect or Nutritional value of a Peanut. How we actually feel about something is often pushed to second place as feelings are dangerously close to intuition and intuition has had a lot of bad press over the years. If ever you needed intuition, you need it now. How you feel when confronted by a decision will give you invaluable feedback. Whether you use it or not is up to you but being aware of your feelings will at least give you that option of choice. Some decisions have to be made quickly but most can make use of space and time in order to explore your options and find out about what you really feel about anything. You don’t always know if what you think is true but you always know that the sensation that you are feeling is real. Feeling excited and happy about something is similar but very different from the feeling that you get when you dread something. Feelings are not meant to stop you from doing something that you want to do but they give that moment of clarity that can make all the difference to what happens next. You always have a choice.
